Wristbands: Easy Crowd Control For Special Events

Big parties and
gatherings can be so much fun, and food and drinks, music, contests, are
just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to planning a holiday party
or great event. While all those details are rather exciting to plan, one
critical step could mean the difference between a fun, successful party
and chaos: events crowd control.
One easy step is to designate
security personnel. There should be at least one security person for
every 50 people expected at the event. Keep in mind that the purpose of
security is not to impede a good time, but to quickly nip a potential
problem in the bud.
Another easy way to maintain organization and minimize trouble is to use colored tyvek wristbands or vinyl wristbands. If you’re checking tickets or IDs at the door, this should be a very simple task. Have multiple colored paper wristbands
for varying level of admission. For example, at a music festival,
discreetly designate the allowances of guests and their access to perks.
Those who donate a minimal amount, identified by a blue wristband, have access to all music performances, free parking, and access to food vendors. Moderate donors, who get yellow event wristbands,
get VIP seating for the musical performances, preferred parking and
tickets redeemable for free food and beverages. The platinum donors,
with white wristbands, have access to VIP seating, backstage passes, and
unlimited food and beverages. If the festival staff know the meaning of
all wristbands for event, the crowd will be easily controlled, preventing chaos.
For smaller events, you may choose to use two different plastic wristbands
to identify those who can legally drink from minors. Checking IDs at
the bar can be time consuming and frustrating in low lights and with
numerous requests. Wristbands for event security are an incredibly helpful detail, no matter the size of your special event.

Invitations, Tickets, Wristbands for events
Posted by Administrator on 11/9/2011
to Wristbands

Centuries ago, in the
times of balls, masquerades and dinner parties, there arose a need for a
way to easily identify guests from unknown or unwanted intruders. The
solution was to send out an invitation,
the great-grandmother of the event ticket. These invitations were
checked at the door of the event, usually by a servant or butler, and
those without invitations were not permitted to come into the party
without approval from the host. More recently, those invitations evolved
into tickets. Tickets were
either collected upon entry, or torn and returned to the guest. Yet
another modern evolution in party control is the use of wristbands.
Let’s think about some of the goals of events and decide which of the
three is more appropriate. Keep in mind that if there is no event marketing or advertising for the event, the place and time must be disclosed through some sort of invitation, written or verbal.
Access Levels
- Once inside the event, there may be the need to identify different
groups of people, such as general admission and VIP. Tickets may be lost
and cannot be identified without inconveniencing the guest. Tyvek wristbands or vinyl wristbands allow staff to monitor the crowd from the opposite side of the room.
The winner?
Wristbands.
Re-Entry
- If people need to leave and come back in (this could happen for a
variety of reasons), you’ll need a way to identify returning guests from
intruders. Tickets, once again, can be easily lost or left with a
companion inside, and a “no re-entry” policy is inconvenient, so the
best solution is to allow free guest flow in and out of the event.
The winner?
Wristbands.
You’re not throwing a party in the
19th century, nor are you a control freak who wants to dictate every
aspect of their guests’ experience, so just pick up some durable,
waterproof plastic wristbands for event security and crowd control and have a smarter party.

How To Publicize Special Events
Posted by Administrator on 8/30/2011
to Wristbands
The success of a special event can depend
upon the amount of publicity and marketing generated to promote it. To be
successful, people need to know about the event and want to come to it. They
need to perceive that it is something special and they want to be part of it. Publicizing the event is also another
way to highlight the involvement of local volunteers. Photos can be taken
during rehearsals or some other preliminary activity of the event and then sent
to local newspapers with an accompanying article featuring current event and
the volunteer help. This can be a motivator for volunteers and also recruit
additional interest in volunteering in the community, and further promote the event. The important questions are why the event
needs media coverage and who will benefit from it. When these can be answered,
there are several ways to publicize a
special event.
Radio stations can help provide media
coverage for your business or special event. It is a great idea to turn to a production
company for quality audio
post productionand other audio production
services. Some of them have in-house voice talent or partner up with voice
talent agency. In both cases, you have a choice of voice overs and voice talent
to best suit your business needs.
Some of audio production companies also
offer promotional andcorporate video
production. Consider this if you want to broadcast your special event on TV
or use a quality video production for online marketing of your business.
Digital advertising should be given consideration as well. This is one of the
latest marketing trends with a high ROI.
With so many choices to promote your business,
ranging from audio production to online marketing and link building for better
search positioning can be beneficial for any type of business, regardless
whether a company sells wristbands
for events, plastic
wristbands, or Aveda hair
products and Bumble and
Bumble shampoo. Just make sure you have a marketing strategy for promoting
your business and trust a reliable production
company to publicize your special event.

Trade Show Marketing Tips

At the time when companies are reevaluating
business
marketing ideas and demand return on investment for every expense, how can
you guarantee that your company will benefit from the next trade show?
A few simple actions on your end can
totally change the outcome of your trade
show, according to former trade show organizer and marketing expert Don
Engebretson.
“Generally the biggest conceptual mistake
that companies make with marketing
business at trade shows is that exhibitors think they are at the show to
give – give away their information, give away free answers and marketing
materials. It is completely wrong and backwards,” says Engebretson. Companies
go to trade shows to take – take action, take away concerns of the people, and
most importantly, to take away their names.”
Don’t give away the consumer too much
information that will scare them away. Instead, give the customer enough
answers to get an appointment. To accomplish this, there are four key areas to
which a company should focus its attention:
-
- Pre-show selling and planning
(which might include preparation of marketing
materials, brochures and promotional items, such as wristbands
with a message, silicone rubber
bracelets, tyvek
wristbands for events, pens, mugs with company logo, etc.)
-
- Exhibiting a booth;
-
- Selling skills;
-
- Advanced follow up.

Organizing Special Events: Make Your Party a Success
Posted by Administrator on 5/30/2011
to Wristbands
No matter how busy we get, most of us still
enjoy taking the time to create a special event to entertain family and friends
or to attend a party. When we think about it, some of our
happiest memories are centered around special
events such as birthday parties, holidays or family times.
Whether you are planning a birthday party
for a 4-year old, or a second wedding for someone past 40, here are some tips
for a successful special event.
- As a rule, stand-up cocktail
parties are less expensive and easier to control than sit-down dinners, but
both can be accomplished inexpensively.
- Select a date at least 3 months
in advance and prepare your guest list. The more planning time you have, the
more money you can save.
- Guests
are part of the atmosphere. Let people know what to wear. Most parties today
are casual, so people need to be reminded if you are planning a more formal
affair. If you plan to have a party elsewhere than your house, remember that
places that offer alcohol beverages require younger folks to present ID before
that will be given vinyl
wristbands, or other type of event
wristbands.
- Shop
for party goods on sale. After holidays, you can pick up solid-colored paper
products for 50% off. For example, use black Halloween napkins for New Year ’s
Eve or stock up on red Christmas items for Valentine’s day.
- Choose
a theme. A creative theme can make a party really special without spending a
dime. It can be as obvious as a holiday or as simple as a color. Then plan
everything around it. Colorful napkins, decorative items, funny custom event wristbands easily
add up to the atmosphere.
- Don’t
get too complicated. No last minute food preparation should take more than
15-20 minutes. For creative décor, use confetti sprinkled on the table to add a
little sparkle. Children’s toys like dolls, or tiny furniture, can become a
display depending on your party theme. Remember, inexpensive balloons and
streamers are still mainstays at even the glitziest events.

Questions To Ask Before Planning Special Events
Posted by Administrator on 4/29/2011
to Wristbands
In fundraising campaigns, special events
can provide an opportunity for continued support and contact with donors, while
customized
wristbands, tyvek
wristbands and silicone
rubber bracelets can be a means of spreading the word. Ground-breaking
ceremonies, donor-recognition dinners, unveiling of donor recognition walls,
tour of new facilities, or other special
event opportunities associated with a capital campaign are perfect forums
for recognizing volunteers and attracting new donors to the cause.
The most important questions to ask before planning or holding a special event are
these:
Is it necessary
to hold an event?
What is this
event expected to do for the organization – raise funds or public awareness?
What type of
event is best for the organization? Will it fit the organization’s mission and
the community?
Is there
adequate volunteer assistance to stage a successful event?
Does the
organization have the financial resources to undertake a special event, and, if
so, what magnitude?
Will an event
bring cohesiveness to the staff and volunteers?
What is the
competition doing? Will this event compete with other events they are holding
or are planning?
Once these questions are answered and a
decision is made to plan and hold an event, enough time
must be allowed to organize it and order necessary supplies, including
promotional items, fliers, wristbands
for events, plastic
wristbands, etc.

Offer Festival Discounts for Frequent Riders and Players

Holiday parties are a fun and exciting way
to celebrate spring season. Those with lots of events and activities and that
last more than one day give everyone, especially families, a chance to go
together and experience the sights and smells of the season. It is a time of
year when the air is crisp and the leaves are beginning to appear. It is one
last opportunity for vendors to make the most of the outdoors before it gets
too hot. A two or three day event brings out grown-ups and kids alike.
Going back to the same part of town two or
three days in a row gives people a chance to see everything once and see their
favorite things again and again. Playing carnival games, jumping in the bouncy
house or going for pony rides are all a lot of fun. Rather than buying tokens
or paying for each day, vendors have taken to selling discount event wristbands. Rather than paying a set price for each
game played, these customized
wristbands can be bought for endless games for two days. This is great for
kids who love to play the same game over and over and over until they win. A
group of vendors can pool their resources and join forces. Anyone who buys custom event wristbands for a day
can have multiple chances. This is helpful for parents who want to let their
children have fun but cannot afford to keep buying tickets or tokens all
weekend long...

Sequentially Numbered Event Wristbands Do More Than Just Count Heads

to Wristbands

Are you looking for a hassle-free way to give out door prizes and count heads at your next event? Do it with silicone wristbands or custom event wristbands.
One of our featured products is the sequentially numbered event wristband.
Each one has a different number on it, all the way up to 1,000 minimum.
If you are hosting an event where you want to know exactly how many
people have come in, issue sequentially numbered event wristbands at the door. Give strict instructions to people with business name tags or employee name badges
working the door or registration table that each person entering gets
one. That way, you won’t have to walk around later and try to do a head
count or tally up registration forms. You will know exactly how many
attendees you have; all you need to do is look at the last numbered wristband.
If you have more than one entrance, give each entrance team a different
fill color wristband to hand out to participants. Choose from red,
white, black, light blue, dark
blue wristbands or no fill at all. These come in youth and adult sizes...

The holidays are quickly approaching. If
you haven’t ordered custom event wristbands
for your party yet, now is the time to start thinking about it. We have special
tyvek wristband holiday patterns for your Christmas and New Year’s events.
Wristbands World can create custom event
wristbands for a holiday gathering of any size. This is one way to show
some holiday spirit. We can create wristbands
for company parties, and also for clubs, church groups, youth associations,
service clubs and even large family gatherings.
Some companies are large enough to rent out
a banquet hall or part of a restaurant for their events. Many establishments
will host a number of holiday parties on the same night, dividing groups into
different rooms. This works well until your group is the one with the nicest
atmosphere, best food and hottest music. The best way to make sure that your
group’s patrons are the only ones receiving what you are paying for is to give
out event wristbands as they
check in at the door upon arrival. Party crashers will not be allowed in and
each approved attendee will have the right wristband...

Use Custom Wristbands for Special Events and Special People
Posted by Administrator on 10/30/2010
to Wristbands

Planning a special event always involves crowd control. Using custom wristbands is one of the easiest, least expensive ways to separate the crowd and stay organized. Personalized wristbands can commemorate a special event by name, date and location. Each patron can be color coded by custom tyvek wristbands that identify guests by age or the amount of access they have.
For example, if alcohol is served at an event, those working the door
are required to check identification of everyone entering. They can
give event wristbands
to each person entering. Those old enough to drink alcohol will be
given one color. Those underage or without proper ID will be given a
different color wristband to be kept on all night. Tyvek works well
when the sponsor or organizer of the event does not want people taking
off their wristbands until it
is over. Customizing the tyvek wristbands with the name of the event or
special information will ensure that no one is bringing in extras from
home to sneak past security or something along those lines...
Socialize With Wristbands At Your Next Event
There are many different uses for silicone
rubber wristbands besides wearing them as a bracelet. One of the most popular
uses is for parties and events where many people will be drinking the same
thing. It can be confusing for people to remember exactly which can or beverage
is theirs. Order custom silicone wristbands in different colors to designate
different beverage ownership in two different ways.
Our wristbands conveniently fit standard
drinking cups. For those using pre-filled cups set out on a table, the wrist bands can be printed with the
type of drink on it. Root beer and cola look alike. So do diet and regular
drinks. Each one will have a different name on it so that people can find the
refreshment of their choice. The wristbands can be recycled for the next event.
This works great for schools, sororities, fraternities and company events...
